To the editor:

If you do not see the truth in the following then you are closing your eyes and ears to the dangers of the path our country is following.

So apparently we have learned nothing from the horrific events of World War II and the effects of National Socialism.

Our country is on the direct path of what transpired when Adolf Hitler mesmerized a nation into believing that he had the answer to their problems and the way to do that was to silence those that disagreed with him.

Hitler’s government sought to establish the cultural dominance of Nazism by burning books, forcing newspapers out of business, using radio and movies for propaganda purposes and forcing teachers throughout Germany’s educational system to join the party.

The German government eventually passed a law stating that the Nazi Party “constitutes the only political party in Germany,” and within months all non-Nazi parties, trade unions and other organizations had ceased to exist.

Does any of this ring a bell with ANYONE out there????

Get a clue people… this is where the Democrats are leading the USA.

Is this really the country you want to live in? That anyone who disagrees with you should be silenced?

There is a place for history in our culture… that the evils of history should teach us not to repeat it.
