To the editor:

I have read a lot of letters to the editor about the task force that the city of Cape Coral Councilmember Jennifer Nelson has started and the complaints and reasons about the homeless people. Not a single one has tried to say how we as citizens can help.

I, for one, have responded to a letter about this and have put in facts on it from three different sites. I also have contacted Councilmember Nelson on this issue and she did respond to me. Now I challenge all of the crybabies on finding ways to help her to come up with ideas to help, not on how to chase out those who are homeless.

I have to wonder if all of the charities that help with this problem are overwhelmed with cries for help from the homeless families and individuals who truly want the help? I also wonder if you, as a person, have not ever been in need of help and people just ignored you or said just get over it?

Until we come together as a community and help solve this problem with working solutions to help solve this problem we have failed as a country and as a city for we are no better then the person who hid when his neighbors were attacked by thieves for, he only thought of himself.

So again I challenge all of the crybabies to come up with ways to help Councilmember Nelson and not complain.
