To the editor:

The First Amendment says that the government can not regulate what you say. That is why FOX gets away with its outright lies.

It does NOT mean that your friends, enemies, neighbors, associates, clients, customers, employers, anybodies-at-all can not or will not, if they wish, direct “significant consequences” within limits then or later toward you based upon their reactions to what you say.
