To the editor:

Did you watch the so-called “debate” debacle Sept. 29?

Trump demonstrated to the world that he is a clear and present danger to world order. Emotionally unmoored and untethered to reality. A stupid and cruel master bully thug. My cognitive dissonance meter went off all night. I kept waking with nightmares, unable to unsee his ugliness or unhear his desperation. A seriously unhinged racist monster who makes a joke of our Democracy and encourages white supremacy terrorists. The chaos is exhausting.

We need no more so-called debates involving this regime. His broken character was on full display for the world to see. We don’t need to witness it again. I only hope that my Republican friends were as offended and repulsed as I by what we saw and vote country over party.
