Mekhi James — do you recognize this name? Of course not! It’s the name of a 3-year-old boy who was shot and died over the weekend in Chicago. Mekhi James will unfortunately not have a Hollywood celebrity pay for his funeral, have a eulogy by Al Sharpton, a white horse-drawn carriage to take him to his final resting place, as well as TV networks having days upon days of memorial services. Mekhi does not qualify for these benefits.

This boy is collateral damage of “black-on-black” crime. Where is the Black Lives Matter movement?

Please let us pray for Mekhi James and the other 100 that were shot, 14 fatally.
