To the editor:
As the Coordinator of Wreaths across American for Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many organizations, businesses and hundreds of people it took to help with this event. From sponsoring the wreaths to helping with the fundraisers and actually placing the wreaths on over 1,755 sites it is an effort on the part of each and every one in order to let our veterans know that they will not be forgotten.
Special thanks go to the administration and staff at Coral Ridge Cemetery; this could not have been accomplished without your loving help and support for the veterans and their families. However it takes many to make this happen so I would like to thank the all the businesses and organizations (too many to list) you are the heart of our community and you are very much appreciated. Last of all I would like to thank the hundreds of volunteers, without you this would have not been possible.
Removal of the wreaths will be on Jan. 4 at 9 a.m.
This was my final year so if anyone would like to step up take over as coordinator for Coral Ridge Cemetery contact either Adam Palladino at 239-603-6700 or Kim Gaide, Military Support, Lee Memorial Hospital at 239-343-2000.
