Make one, toss two

To the editor:

I may not be the first and I’m sure not the last to think after reading the latest musings of our esteemed Council members about such important matters as parking on lawns and covers on cars that what they really need to do is pass a law that for every new rule or law passed there needs to be attached two laws that are being repealed. In that way, in 10 or 20 years we would have the municipal code down to the point where it could be understood by all of us and further could be enforced without the typical eye rolling and “you have to be kidding” comment when we are informed of some wrong doing that we have committed.
