Isn’t it ironic…
To the editor:
How ironic the city backs off the non-resident, non-taxpaying, non-voting residents of Matlacha on annexation and their over-development water front-destruction plans. Yet they continue to jam over-development water-polluting multifamily highrise zoning changes down Cape Coral residents throats regardless of their concerns or objections.
Public input is totally ignored in most cases and totally ignored at the 7 Island highrise issue.
I cannot think of one case where the city backed off when faced with opposition from city residents. Exactly who does this council represent?
