Re: America love it or leave it

In response to the letter from Mr. Wallace:
This is America and you have the right to your beliefs as misinformed as they are, but I would like to clear up a couple of things so that the next time you decide to write an opinion you do not come across as not doing your homework.
Throw around were words like “crazy” and “stupid” and “dimwitted” yet it is obvious there was no research beforehand. Had there been, it would have revealed that three of those Democrats currently running for President served in the military with honor, in Iraq or Afghanistan. Buttigieg, Gabbard and Moulton, who served not one, but five tours in Iraq. So I doubt very much that he hates this country as was assumed of anyone who has a belief that is different from the one expressed.
As to why President Obama did not serve, he did not have to as there was no draft, nor was our country at war when he became of age, unlike Trump who used a flimsy excuse to avoid the draft, so there is a very big difference and that is where some of us have a “beef” to answer your question.
And yes, I served. Did you?
