City needs to do its part on water conservation
To the editor:
I find it fascinating that we are asked to reduce the watering of our lawns. I do not water mine in the winter. The Cape Coral City Council needs to look in its own proverbial yard.
I frequently travel along Cape Coral Parkway early in the morning and get to see the median being watered… along with the road! The roadway is flooded and the sprinklers are still running! Seriously, the city needs to improve the system with low volume output sprinklers and less time for watering!
It is said that change begins at home so council members, it’s time to get on board!
