CCPD to be commended

To the editor:

I commend our Police Department how they handled this horrid situation with the apparent random killings a few days ago. The fast response by all the officers in the city to the area was the utmost important thing to do to locate and stop this maniac from more killings. I am glad that no officers were injured and no other people were harmed.

In these days of seeing police, fire and EMT personnel attacked and killed throughout the U.S., we here in this city are blessed with these dedicated men and women who protect us.
