A very special elected official
To the editor:
Lee County Commissioner, Cecil Pendergrass, has earned our respect and our absolute appreciation.
Prior to serving as a Lee County commissioner, Mr. Pendergrass, for 25 years, served in law enforcement. For a quarter of a century, on a daily basis, the commissioner placed his life on the line protecting our children, our friends, and all of us from the evils that threaten Americans everywhere.
Still anxious to serve after his law enforcement retirement, Commissioner Pendergrass ran for the office of Lee County Commissioner. During his campaign he promised that if elected he would serve with dignity and he would represent the citizens vigorously, openly, and respectfully.
He has kept those promises.
At a time when politicians in Washington and beyond are held in contempt for disrespecting important priorities and promises to constituents, Commissioner Pendergrass has displayed absolute earnestness and has made a positive impact on the welfare of Lee County! This commissioner is a respected family man, a God-loving individual with an impeccable moral commitment, and an asset to Lee County Florida. He is a creative elected official, a shining example of goodness and he has earned your vote for re-election!
