Time for a change
To the editor:
Since the mayor has personal problems and can’t show up to do her job, perhaps it time we find a mayor who can.
This is just another example of the incompetent people we have in city hall.
They can’t even deal with LCEC they have to hire a company for $49,000 because of a city manager is not able to deal with it. Also we need renovations of city chambers for $120.000, just another waste of our tax dollars along with the millions they want to spend on sidewalks the in Cape business district because someone wants bricks instead of a sidewalk.
Is this why we are paying a tax on fire services and a tax on our electric bills – so they can waste more of our tax dollars? This city is all about fees and taxes because they have no idea how to run a city on a budget. And propaganda that is mailed to our homes how everything is great in the Cape is a joke. It great for the high-paying people in city hall. They could not care less about the people who have to pay the taxes they put on the residents.
We need to bring big changes on how we elect people to city hall or we will always have the employees in charge, and unions who support them, in elections.
The residents better wake up or we will get more of the same.
