Good people made Mother’s Day great

To the editor:

I want to share my Mother’s Day experience with everyone. It made my day and proved there are still very nice people in the world.

I went to Rumrunners restaurant at lunch time by myself. I ordered and, as I was waiting, a lady came to my table and gave me a bunch of carnations and wished me a Happy Mother’s Day. I was in shock and thanked her.

I finished my lunch and the waiter told me my lunch was paid for. Again I was in shock. The waiter came back again and said he had to tell me four tables offered to pay for my lunch. WOW!!

Then he told me who had paid my bill. It was the table that gave me the flowers.

When I left I went to their table and thanked them again.
