The vandals within
To the editor:
Our nation at risk. No, not so much from terrorists, but rather from internal malignancy !
Practically all of America’s economic problems can today be properly and truthfully laid at the feet of our “One Percent.” They have deliberately gutted our economy and sent huge portions of it offshore to low-wage regions in order to secure unconscionable gains for themselves in the short term – paying no attention whatever to what further negative consequences will come due for payment by all of us, including thems- not too far down the road. They have achieved this by sowing pallets of cash in every direction upon our elected Professional Politicians.
That THAT much is clear -or should be to everyone! !
Yet now I see the truly disturbing spectacle of large parts of our electorate supporting a truly nasty, vituperious member of the One Percent – a person so poisonous that he makes the familiar and usual Professional Politician look like a heavenly angel!! . This evaluation does not depend one way or the other upon his advocacy I simply can not imagine such a brash, loud, uncouth character representing the United States of America to the rest of the world!!! Indeed, I can imagine him one day removing his shoe and pounding the podium with it a la the myth of Nikita K.
