Progress in 2015
To the editor:
I remember when lawlessness…was lawlessness! When we could go out and leave our doors unlocked. When we could leave our car unlocked in our driveway, without fear of losing it. When there was respect for teachers, elders,police, and parents.
I remember when we didn’t need bars on our windows, when we were taught patriotism, when there weren’t pinheads advocating the removal of “in God we trust” from our currency.
So what happened in 2015?
How did we regress and evolve into a society without morals? Why was America transformed from a nation filled with goodness and Godliness into a country, devoid of ethics, and filled with shame and sadness?
America was at its greatest before we had the despicable A..C.L.U., before we had wackos sitting on the Second Circuit court of appeals, before “earmarks” littered every legislative decision, before elected officials made “closed door” deals and then said “That’s the way we do business in Washington” while waving their middle finger at us.
Yes, America was at its best before it murdered 50 million babies in the womb, before Hillary disgraced the nation with the Benghazi treachery, and, certainly, before Obama weakened the country with sickening governance. Stealing trillions of dollars from our generations to come, Obama dividing the nation every time he speaks, Hillary placing her hand on the Bible and then lying, and the Washington elected officials, running in circles and stepping on their unmentionables.
All of this adds up to and has served to create a nation in turmoil.
The only hope for this once the greatest nation on earth is to forget “political correctness,” hold elected officials responsible for being dishonest, reform the Supreme Court, and for Washington degenerates to be sent packing. Let’s end the talking; endless babbling means absolutely nothing! It’s only the “doing that matters!
And let’s return to being a nation of goodness, Godliness, respect and truth. This is the ONLY path that can reverse our deterioration. This is our hope for progress in 2016.
