‘Spenders’ win again
To the editor:
Once again the city employees and unions have won another election and the taxpayers have lost out.
Carioscia and Cosden are not working for us and neither is Erbrick. They are doing whatever they can for unions and employees of this city. Do you like the tax on your electric bill, the fire assessment tax and the tax on your cable and phone? This is only the beginning with these people. The city manager and mayor have won another round and the residents have lost.
We need to move the election from off years to major elections so the majority will get out and vote. If not, we will keep seeing the same outcome – the union rule and an Obama- style government right in your own back yard with these people in power.
This city is going to end up just like Detroit which these people broke; then let’s see what the unions are going to do to help this city.
