Thank you to those who cast a ballot
To the editor:
A huge thanks to the voters in Cape Coral who cared enough for the city to come out and vote on Tuesday, Nov. 3. We have some new faces and ideas on the council, and I believe we have a group that can continue to work together and move the city forward.
A special thank you for the positive vote on Charter Amendment 2, which provided a fair pay increase for the mayor and council members. Even more important than the pay increase is the fact that the majority of the voters and residents seem to be happy with our direction and performance.
It is always nice to be reassured we are doing the right thing.
