Above the law?

Haunted Hillary:?FBI?inquiry looms “She’s too big to jail’ the headline reads. But it says much more about our legal and political system. Since when is someone above the law in this country?
A slap on the wrist might be appropriate if the negligence, deception and lying was limited to one very minor incident. But here we have a determined and planned desire to avoid scrutiny and investigation by having a clandestine server designed to purposely clean her trail of deeds and misdeeds while she was the Secretary of State.
After all this time that has passed investigating her and her accomplices and aides it is no longer feasible to declare that this was a minor detour of trust but rather a full blown highway of underhanded and designed political actions for future deletion.
The very existence of this private and clandestine server conducting the serious nature of our country’s business is criminal. And yet, the headline reads, “too big to jail!”
Like most Americans, I am unaware that such a provision is housed within our Constitution. The mantra has always been that, “no one is above the law!” And yet the headline reads as it does. The question blares to the heavens, “Who is at fault for even suggesting that this nonfeasance of law is even possible?” Let us look further;” McClatchy say it’s unlikely the former first lady, senator and Cabinet secretary will face charges because of her high profile and the hurdle to prove she knew the emails contained classified information when she sent them to others.” “She’s too big to jail,” said national security attorney Edward MacMahon Jr. It has also been suggested that, Clinton’s lawyers might be able to ward off a prosecution by demonstrating “that she was so stupid and so busy that she didn’t have any idea what was going on” with regard to her emails.” Really? This is less than stellar support for her credentials and integrity. And she is receiving strong support from the media as a candidate for the Presidency of this country? So if the FBI finds that there is actionable evidence to prosecute it is unlikely that Attorney General Loretta Lynch, a Democrat, will proceed to a prosecution. This is our present state of affairs! The future may call the media to task for their own failure to report responsibly. To the media this is “Failgate!”
