Vote LaGrasta, Barrier

To the editor:

I attended the Republican Club’s Candidate Forum this past week and was very happy to hear Marilyn Stout publicly endorse both Kirk LaGrasta and Tim Barrier for City Council in their respective Districts 2 and 7. This support from Marilyn for her fellow registered Republicans is a step in the right direction – Republicans need to unite and support one another!

I have been following the debates this entire time and at no previous time did Marilyn publicly commit to supporting either Kirk or Tim. As most everyone knows, Marilyn has been involved in politics for years and is smart and intuitive. Obviously she wanted to carefully consider these candidates until she felt completely comfortable in aligning herself with them and giving her endorsement. If she feels these candidates are the right choice, then they are!

I encourage everyone to support these two candidates, just as Marilyn has. Vote for.Kirk LaGrasta in District 2 and Tim Barrier in District 7 on Nov. 3.
