Vote Carioscia
To the editor:
I am voting for John Carioscia. I have been coming to Cape Coral for 10 years and have lived here full time for over two. I have noticed more and more younger people and families with children like myself moving into the area. We need someone with vision! Not only to improve the here and now, but to prepare and grow for the future. He has accomplished this by voting for and bringing on a professional city manager.
He also believes that improvement can be accomplished by expanding our commercial tax base. We don’t have an airport, railroad, or major interstate. However, we do have a lot of open land to the north and the Bimini Basin that can be utilized. John’s plan to entice commercial developers to locate to Cape Coral would be extremely beneficial to the residents because of the tax revenue it would generate.
I am impressed with his continued fight for the Chiquita Lock removal. The voters owe it to the future citizens of this growing city to elect officials that can recognize what change is needed and to take the initiative to make those changes. I believe John Carioscia is the best candidate to represent Cape Coral because of his proven leadership abilities, his integrity, and his drive to get things done!
