Vote Cammarota and LaGrasta
To the editor:
To my friends and fellow concerned citizens of Cape Coral, I would like to bring one fact to your attention. Under current laws, criminal charges can be brought only against corrupt politicians for taking bribes from contractors seeking to steal your money. Currently, there is a Bill in the State Legislature sponsored by State Sen. Don Gaetz, that would make it a prosecutable act for contractors to “offer bribes” to political officials and make them also eligible for jail. This is a bill that is long time coming and is supported by the Gannett newspapers and by me.
I promise that the two honest men that I am supporting for Cape Coral City Council, Chris Cammarota and Kirk LaGrasta, will make this a part of their campaign platform and will join me in supporting this legislation and carrying it out to the fullest.
I urge you to elect these two to the Cape Coral City Council. We will only be satisfied when all bids are on a level playing field, when all decisions are made honestly, and when the people of Cape Coral finally get the goods and services they really need at the best price possible, from the best people possible.
Join me in supporting Cammarota and LaGrasta in this effort. Give them your votes.
