To the editor:
City of Cape Coral City Manager Szerlag proposes more raises for city employees?
Did you ever wonder why the city manger or council and mayor want to give more raises to city employees before the next election?
Think it might have something to do with getting them elected again?
This way we keep a city manager who is for the employees and city council and mayor and not for the people of this city.
If they spend half their time to figure out how to get raises for employees, how much time do they spend on lowering water rates or the fire assessment tax, or the tax on our electric bills? The answer is simple. None.
If you want these people in charge again. don’t turn out and vote?
But if you’re sick of what’s going on with spending and waste, do the right thing, vote them out of office.
