Distraction intended to gull voters

To the editor:

This is offered in response to Dick Kalfus, “Dreaming is not a governing strategy,” Cape Coral Breeze, Jan 2.

Political distraction and political emotion are indeed powerful tools in the hands of the politically unscrupulous! Some people seem to be willing to go to any length at all in their attempts to discredit Mr. Obama – while not only ignoring but actually cultivating the ultimate destruction of our democratic society, of our entire nation.

Who are these people ?

They are the henchmen (who act deliberately or often credulously) of a dangerous wing of the few (“the 1 percent or so”) and who are and have been for some time engaged in a stealthy and insidious long-term program to transfer the wealth of the nation from the hands of the many (We the People) into the hands of the few (the 1 percent or so). Many are sincere in their pitiful delusions (such as the curious “Love the Fetus, Hate the Child” philosophy) but way too many are simply political groupies, such as the jokingly called “Trailer-Park Republicans” around us, not to mention a segment one might simply term “political masochists.” They are literally and actively hijacking the nation from under us, apparently realizing not in any way at all the dangerous work that they are being led by others as henchmen to do to us AND to themselves.

Their methods are founded on distraction: They work tirelessly to focus the main attention of the electorate of the nation on emotional, inflammatory and indeed often relatively trivial issues at the national front door while the nation is being emptied of its national wealth through the kitchen door left thoughtlessly wide open by that distracted electorate – and indeed convincing members of some parts of the electorate to actually help the hijackers carry the goods out to the waiting trucks, as it were. Note that two of the very longest and sharpest knives being used to cut into the fabric of this nation and which are directed at sending us back into serfdom – all in the name of unrestrained profit – are Globalism and Conglomerism, where one finds a seething hotbed of those “1 percent or so” hijackers busily scheming up even more abhorrent tactics to come.

These curious, impaired beings at the heart of this movement, in their malignant greed, have completely forgotten the classical tale of The Golden Goose!! They will, of course, ultimately destroy themselves -but We the People will have to bear the misery first unless we soon come to grips with the danger that they pose!

The entire noxious operation would indeed be utterly hilarious to watch if it were not happening to us!
