Torture cannot be justified

To the editor:

It has been said that if America ever fails, it will have been destroyed by decay within.

Here we have Mr. J. Kibitlewski (Letters to the Editor, Dec.19) trying to justify torture as a means of enhancing National Security to help provide the appropriate atmosphere?)

I think that those who feel this way may be considered the leading Poster Boys for National Decay !
