Stop the tax-and-spend
To the editor:
What do Councilman Burch and President Obama have in common?
They both love to waste taxpayers’ money – Obama on Obamacare and Burch on lowering a speed limit 5 miles a hour. Like that is going to work – the only reason they want this is so police can write more tickets for income, just like keeping bars open to 4 a.m. so police can write more DUIs and more income for the city to waste.
If Burch or the mayor go over the speed limit who is going to write the ticket?
If Burch wants to help the people of this city they would find a way to lower water rates and the assessments, stop the tax on electric rates and phone and cable, and stop wasting time on stupid laws.
Wake up Cape Coral, these people could care less about the residents of this city. If they cared, we wouldn’t be paying all these fees.
