To the editor:

Debbie Jordan understands and knows the county. She knows the issues. She raised her children here, putting them through the local schools and colleges. Debbie supports smart growth and community services like our libraries, parks, and 20/20 Conservation program.

She has administrative experience as president of the Hotel Restaurant and Lodging Association for 20 years.

A woman’s view among the other male commissioners will be a positive in-put on issues from time to time.
