Is it impeachable?
Even if it is Constitutional but destroys the fabric of this country, can the actions so taken, be cause for impeachment?
The tremendous influx of illegal immigrants brings with it a disastrous set of political consequences. To put such a powerful voting tool into the hands of one party has serious ramifications. Even if absent this political calamity, the equations for positive outcomes for the country are unlikely.
This immense migration comes at a time of limited resources for success of the individual. Are we to become the foster parent for the world? Our resources are severely limited. We cannot employ the citizens who are lawfully here and we are then going to embark on a journey that imports immigrants that will strain further the inner workings of our economy? Who can justify this? The impoverishment of the major portion of the population is a foregone conclusion. The economy cannot sustain this.
The president must put forth the best interests of this country first. The well-being of this country must be paramount. We cannot allow such a perversion of our way of life.
If the goal is political, and I see no other reason for this action, it will destroy the political ability we have always enjoyed, that of interchangeable political parties in power. This is the bedrock of our success demonstrated by the fact that there has always been a peaceful change of presidents in our history. Any attempt to alter its design enters the toxic area of maladministration.
The president can, with the stroke of a pen, succeed where our enemies in war failed: revocation of what we are as a nation.
And so I repeat my opening question. Can this irresponsible behavior be an impeachable act? Can it be stopped? This is our house, are we then to allow a debilitating entity to take over?
