Veterans helping veterans
To the editor:
We would like to thank the community for supporting our first “Freedom and Family Weekend” at JetBlue Park on Sept 27 and 28th for our veterans.
The Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation was able to provide entertainment for 23 hours for both days and we are very grateful for their participation. A Civil War Reenactment, ROTC & Recruit Competition, Born to Ride motorcycle rally, Classic Car Show, Truck show -all for the benefit of our Veterans.
Family fun for children and active and retired military both days.
We thank Hooters for feeding our volunteers and our entertainers.
We thank JetBlue Park for hosting our event.
We look forward to bringing you another great event next year.
