Urge Deile to run again
To the editor:
After reading the article with the comment “I would rather serve a tour in Iraq than sit on the dais again. It pays better, I could accomplish more and my efforts would be better appreciated,” from Councilman Bill Deile in the other newspaper on Jan. 29, I could not help but think, what a terrible state of affairs we are in when one of the best councilmen we have ever had has to voice such feelings.
This guy is one class act and I, for one, want to see him take another shot at this job for the good of people of the city of Cape Coral. Wake up people and let this fellow know he is doing a good job, you want to keep him and most certainly do encourage him to run again, before we lose him.
Deile is a commodity we can ill afford to lose at this time in our history. So let the man know you appreciate him and give him your support.
Hang in there Billy Boy, it’s always darkest before the dawn, and – there is a lot of us who love you.
