President’s policies ruining the country
To the editor:
Having been a close observer of things social and political since the Truman administration, I mourn for the future of my country. We have stepped off the cliff instead of leading the world the sees us as weak. It started with the Obama apology tour. He spoke to the Muslims in Egypt, the socialists in Europe. Internally he is destroying the American system. His policies have run up a huge debt, he has taken over the health care industry, the auto industry and now he wants Wall Street. All this jeopardizes our standing in the world. I am sure our enemies are snickering and the Chinese own us. They recently threatened to replace the dollar with the Euro as the world’s standard currency.
Meanwhile at home we have become politically correct. Those three navy seals were tried for abuse of terrorists. Franklin Graham was kicked out of the Prayer Breakfast, nothing is done to control our borders, so, in essence it all revolves around politics. The Democrats seized power and are forcing all their Leftist programs through Congress, the media is in their pocket and our Constitutional guarantees are threatened.
Perhaps only the Tea Party movement and Senator Palin can save us. Fortunately the Republicans seem less corrupt than the Democrats so I will stick with the GOP and hope for the best and pray the Lord will have pity on my grandchildren.
