Garbage contract not thought through
To the editor:
Once again the city of Cape Coral has made a decision for the citizens of the city without thinking it through, much like the Kismet water plant fiasco we have to pay for now and don’t use. As a household of two, we conserve and recycle, thus ending up with one small bag of trash for the weekly pick up. We will now be forced to use a 95-gallon barrel from the new company with no place to store such a monster. How ridiculous! We should at least have a choice of sizes without needing a “medical condition” to get a smaller barrel. O.K. Everyone in Cape Coral open your mouths wide for the next thing the city will cram down our throats, whether it’s needed or not!
