Government not the be all, end all
To the editor:
We live in a predominately Canadian RV park. In neighborhood conversations, be assured satisfaction or happiness is not found in comments of Canadian socialized system of health care. Care or emergency doesn’t enter into this conversation. “Wait” is the most common verb.
Since oil drilling and mining is off limits government has taken over banking, the car industry and most every aspect of our lives, trying to leave nothing to the private sector. Water and backyard gardening is on the list. For world government control, the United Nations has set up a system signed on by our politicians to control all natural resources and large corporations thereby controlling our lives and or deaths. Health insurance companies are on the hit list as they’ve already shored up state-owned disaster insurance pools.
Government has performed so horribly in the past, our future looks bleak. Replace “Too big to fail” with “The bigger they are, the harder they fall.” Stick the U.N. in the second category, but leave “We the People” to our founding documents.
Think Tenth Amendment then go shopping under the Second.
