Keep KC’s
To the editor:
The baby beach! What is the baby beach? It is the first place we bring all our family and friends as soon as they arrive from the cold north!
We have lived here for four years and I have always called it the baby beach because it is a few blocks from my home and it has all the same things the big beaches have but most important it has KC’s. KC’s is the place for reasonable priced food that tastes great and has lots of friendly people. Why would we go any place else? We don’t!
Betty has worked hard to build a place where people want to be and she should not be forced out. The Cape does a very good job of forcing the small business owners out and replacing them with big names.
I can get big names any place in the United States. We moved here from Chelsea, Michigan and that is a city that does just the opposite. They push all the big names out and cater to the small business people. When you walk the streets of Chelsea you never know what sort of business you are going to find. They actually bring tour buses into the city on a regular basis. Yes, I said tour buses and the city loves it and so do the people. If a city that doesn’t have an ocean and is cold most of the time can have a thriving business district, why can’t the Cape? Pushing KC’s out is not only wrong, it is just bad business!
