Health care rationing begins

3 min read

To the editor:

And so it begins, first mammograms and now pap smears. Two critical procedures that have kept women safe for decades, and saved countless lives, suddenly are being recommended for service reduction. Only a naive idiot would believe that these shameful pronouncements are not connected to the desperate attempt by the administration to redefine health care in America. Everyone agrees that we need health care reform. But when the payment method includes the sacrificing of untold numbers of women’s lives the bureaucratic political game becomes heartless and much too costly. The suggestion is a blatant betrayal of Americas ideals and safety and should be denounced immediately by the White House, every Congressman and each and eery doctor. It’s interesting and more frightening that all through these conversations we have never heard exactly how many people have been saved, through the years, as a result of these preventive measures. Now rumor has it that there have been discussions about reducing the birth rate by declaring a family limit depending on income levels. The rationale, this will serve to reduce the dependency on social services, thus freeing up more money for the government to squander. And, that’s not all. There has also been discussions about “population equalization.”

Here some feel that having a sex imbalance makes for an unhappy community and serves to promote homosexuality, crime, and overall unrest. The solution, abortion – simply kill the babies about to be born to the sex not wanted. Some reading this might say, that’s crazy this will never happen. And to this we say that for all we know it could be happening now, it could be in the bill waiting to be pushed through Congress. The bill consists of almost 2,000 pages, our trusted Congressional representatives say it’s too big and convoluted to read, and they insist that they intend to sign it into law without knowing its content. Professional, of course not. Dangerous, you bet.

Frankly, Hitler’s decision to control the population was more humane than these recent expressions of reducing mammogram and pap smear tests for women. With this blueprint we will trigger, for thousands of women, painful and agonizing deaths.

Make no mistake about it, the government knows that economizing must be done in order to support the irresponsible spending programs and there is no hesitation about doing this at the risk and expense of the unsuspecting public. Contact the White House. Write to your Congressional representatives. Contact the media. Let everyone know that we are not stupid and we are fed up with being treated with disrespect and as if we were unimportant. If you don’t act now it would be too late when you do.
