Remember, we live in paradise
To the editor:
Cape Coral residents rejoice. You live in one of the finest places to live in the U.S. The climate is great, beautiful ecosystems, friendly people.
Be aware that there are people who don’t want you to recognize this and probably have ulterior motives.
The shopping is great. Who needs those big box stores designed to target your spending impulses. Save that money for more worthwhile purchases. The restaurants are better than most in other locals and there are lots of low cost activities to keep you in shape.
All I have to do is remember the bone chilling rains in the Midwest, the unpredictable weather that ruins the summers, the expensive and cumbersome winter clothing, the grey, gloomy skies for weeks at a time, the intolerance of small minds and the social isolation felt by those over 55. Rejoice you live in paradise.
