To the editor:
Please accept my sincere thanks for allowing me to serve all of the citizens of Cape Coral since my election April of 2005 through Nov. 9, 2009. We worked together to make Cape Coral a better place to live and play and we have been successful.
Today, the citizens of Cape Coral have decided to change and have elected a new representative for District 4. It was done through our process which allows us to make changes through our voting rights. We will have many hills to climb during these next few years, but with dedication by all it can be achieved.
I will continue to serve our great city through whatever avenues are available. Stay focused Cape Coral and work together with a positive image for the future.
Those who will take the oath of office on Monday, Nov. 9, should do so as proud Americans never wishing anything but the best for our country and for our wonderful city. Congratulations new council members and mayor.
