Bye, bye, humble pie
To the editor:
Rumor comes to fruition in Cape Coral.
In one of my recent letters to the editor, I mentioned the following: Rumors have it that the Humble Pie Bakery located at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd. in Cape Coral, owned and operated by some elected/appointed city officials, may close its doors on Nov. 4.
Unofficially, the Humble Pie Bakery shut down at 7 p.m., Nov. 3. No more humble pie servings at city council meetings. What a shock. Will I miss my bi-monthly servings of this luscious desert? You think?
I’m sure I will suffer withdrawal pain but I recuperate rather quickly.
