Vote for Burch and Bertolini
To the editor:
Tuesday night, the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce held its Candidates Forum for the upcoming mayoral and council district election. The forums’ format was one of the best I have attended and provided for audience participation as well.
At the end of the forum a straw poll by the attendees was conducted and the results have been made public. Mayor Jim Burch showed his leadership and commitment to our city and the results gave him a 3 to 1 lead over his opponent. In addition, Councilmember Dolores Bertolini received a strong showing with almost a 5 to 1 lead on her opponent. I believe this really shows who the business community trusts by being pro business!
These two candidates have shown their ability to lead, understand our city government’s rules and laws and continue to work hard, always looking forward to do the best for the future of our city and its citizens. That is why I will (and I encourage you, too) cast my vote for our city’s future by voting for Jim Burch for mayor and Dolores Bertolini for District 4.
Everyone, please remember to vote on Nov. 3.
