Vote Cataldi

To the editor:

I understand that Kevin McGrail wants to be on Cape Coral’s city council representing District 6. At one of the candidate debates, he informed everyone that he works as a hospital technician in Naples working the night shift. Since this is his full-time occupation, I’m sure he works 40 hours a week adding two hours for driving back and forth each day, adds another 10 hours; thus a total of 50 hours per week.

When will he find the time to research on projects and decisions that will effect all of us? It’s a known fact that the position of city council representative requires between 40 and 60 hours per week if every issue is to be researched and examined, before making an intelligent decision on our behalf. Fifty hours at his full time occupation, plus at least 40 hours being a council representative, equals a total of 90 hours. Can you imagine? Perhaps he will gain most of his knowledge from the city manager and staff? Think about it.

Vote for the man who has 52 years of public service, and is now retired. He will give us 100 percent of his time. Vote John Cataldi Jr. District 6.
