Burch a straight-shooter
To the editor:
They say that politics makes strange bedfellows. It has never been as true as in the race for mayor of Cape Coral. First, we had John Sullivan saying that he was the voice of the people, now we have him feeding at the trough of special interest. Sullivan is the hand-picked candidate of the rich and famous developer community. They are supporting him, helping him with fundraising and now trying to tarnish the other candidates with lies and innuendoes. These people have been in bed together for only a couple of months. What can they do in four years?
Enough is enough! I am voting for a real change in the politics of Cape Coral. I’m voting for Mayor Jim Burch. He has been a straight shooter the entire nine months since he took over the mayor’s position. No games, just straight talk with the people of Cape Coral. How refreshing! It is good to be excited enough to go to the polls and vote for a real leader again.
