Keep KC’s
To the editor:
Drew Winchester’s article about KC’s Riverstop losing its contract with the city after more than 15 years is a rude awakening for anyone who would want to do business in Cape Coral. Sounds to me like the owners are providing a service that kept them in business not only through the recent economic doldrums but through the ups-and-downs of the seasonal traffic.
If the city were managed that way – as home prices soared out of control and then slammed down to nothing – maybe they wouldn’t have to nickel-n-dime small business owners, or send them to the unemployment office, to make a few extra bucks.
KC’s is a well-established fixture in Cape Coral, one that permanent residents and snowbirds enjoy visiting because they know exactly what they’ll get when they go there – good food, good company and good service.
