Donations sought for Thanksgiving dinner

To the editor:

The holidays are quickly approaching us and we at the Paradise Tiki Hut have a great appreciation that many will not have the holiday dinners they are accustomed to. So, it may not be what they have had in the past but would like to offer a complimentary “Thanksgiving” meal to all who have no place to go or just don’t have the means to have the traditional meal.

We are asking help from our community to help with this expense through either monetary donation or product. We have estimates of about 1,000 or more are in need. Will you please consider what you can do; anything and everything will be very much appreciated.

We will have a sponsor area where those who attend will see those who contributed to make their “Thanksgiving” enjoyable. We will be serving from 1 6 p.m. with no reservations required; there also will be live entertainment that evening from “Angie & the Perfect Gentlemen.”
