Get out and vote in the primary

To the editor:

Cape Coral is at a cross roads and we must make some serious choices. We must decide if we want the city to run the way it has been run in the past or we must decide if we want to make positive change. Every two years the residents get an opportunity to make the most important vote that will take place for the next two years. That would be to vote for our elected officials.

I urge each and every one of you to go to the polls and vote. This local election is extremely important and we all need to participate. Many Americans sacrificed so that we can participate in this process. We only have one chance to get this right. So let’s do the right thing and go out and vote.

Please do your home work, select your candidates and vote for them giving them the opportunity to compete in the general election on Nov. 3. So please get out and vote on Sept. 15.
