Don’t be fooled by Road Ahead ‘oath signings’ and promises
To the editor:
This election will be one of the most important in Cape Coral’s history.
As a growing city, with many large upcoming projects, we need experienced visionary minded people on our council and as our mayor.
Our last voting council meeting (Aug. 31, ’09) was a “grandstand orchestration” put on by mislead citizens who felt that they could bend the council and run the city with their uncivilized and ill mannered behavior. Disrespect, coarse language, hostility, you name it all displayed for their own benefit, not for the benefit of their fellow citizens. It shamed our city. God help us all.
Some of the candidates are condoning and instigating this behavior with their questionable “oath” signings. Oath signings, even by some present council members does it sound like collusion and lack of ethics are involved?
Some of us do not want to be associated with this type of “Road Ahead” group activities.
Therefore, please vote, Sept. 15, and Nov. 3. It is imperative for our city.
