Proceed with SW 6/7
To the editor:
Perhaps we should remind ourselves of the first social skill we all were taught in kindergarten and that is respect. Respect for self and respect for others. We can respectfully disagree.
Raising your voice does not make people listen better… See #1
Establish the rules before the meeting begins – any shouting will NOT be tolerated and the meeting will end… Period. No verbal abuse should be tolerated.
The Southwest 6/7 sewer project should be continued as planned. There is no better or worse time.
Remember there are 160,000 people living in this community. The majority want the project to proceed. With completion, the whole city will support the sewage treatment plant which was designed for the whole city. A divided city will not have to bear the cost unfairly.
