What’s cooking at city hall?

To the editor:

Don’t go to a bakery on an empty stomach

You may get more than you want.

Community activist John Sullivan can attest to that. He visited the “Humble Pie” bakery, located at 1015 Cultural Park Blvd., owned and operated by “some” high-powered people seated on the dais in council chambers. He questioned the size of the pies, as they appeared to be too large for a family of four to consume for one dessert. Wrong thing to do. You do not question the head pastry chef’s, requesting their specialty, especially when they are “free.”

Mr. Sullivan left the establishment bloated, since he was forced to eat two large “humble pies.” One from Mr. Stewart ,and another one from Mr. Burch.

Thank God for ultra-strength antacid tablets.

I can’t wait until new owners take over. Rumors have it that the bakery will then become an ice cream parlor. That’s good news! Positive news! I love ice cream. We will scream for ice cream!
