Midwest madness

To the editor:

And then there was Blagojovich. What in the world is wrong with Illinois… the voters, the government, and especially the governor?

If you talk to people from Chicago they say, without hesitation, what’s all the fuss about, this is just business as usual, it’s Illinois politicos.

“Business as usual” – it’s a heck of a way to characterize a crooked-to-the- core political machine that is supposed to serve the citizens. Factually, Blago is only one of the spokes in a wheel filled with filth and disgrace. It’s time for the federal government to step in and clean up the mess.

The suits, the talking heads, the crooks, the slime…it all has to go. Illinois has become the laughing stock of the world and has disgraced the entire nation.

With irresponsible pinheads running the state, and adversely impacting on the United States Senate, it would be prudent to remove the state from Senate participation and continue the suspension until filth and pollution no longer is the “business as usual” standard. We might also consider a fence around the state to keep the mess in the midwest.
