Cochran, Johnston best candidates
To the editor:
Well, now, those folks at the Naples Daily News did, in the issue of Oct. 6, declare Les Cochran and Carla Johnston as “best choices” for the Lee County Commission! Good for them.
Has anybody noticed how tired Ray Judah looks and that Bob Janes seems to need more sleep? Both of those guys have had a rough time of it lately, what with sheperding the innocence of Stilwell and Judah’s hard work schmoozing and consulting with baseball and other honchos about economic stimulus stuff. (And, by the way, whose economy is planned to be stimulated?) And poor Judah has had to be on our county commission for 20 years.
That’s long enough. I believe both he and Janes should hang it up; let Les Cochran and Carla Johnston give us some fresh, new and honest guidance as Lee County commissioners.
