10 years? Please!

To the editor:

I can remember when the Chrysler automobile factory in Detroit stopped making Chryslers at the beginning of World War II and turned out tanks almost overnight.

I can also remember when the Willow Run plant outside Detroit ceased to make Kaiser and Frazer automobiles and almost overnight turned out Liberator bombers.

For the Democrats to say it would take 10 years for the drilling to be productive is plain Democratic BS or bullheadedness as spoken in polite company, and I am an unhappy Democrat.
